The Wedding of Journee and Djay
You know those people that whenever you see them you just start to smile from the inside out?
Well Journee and Djay ARE those people and seriously make the most amazing and FUN couple! The first time I met them was during their engagement session and I could tell right then and there how much they love being together and how deeply devoted they are to one another.
I had really been looking forward to seeing Journee and Djay again at their wedding which took place at Stone Oak Farms in Opelousas, Louisiana, a venue I had not yet been to. When Journee first called me looking for a wedding photographer she told me that she just HAD to have their wedding there after they visited Stone Oak Farms. She was right, it did not disappoint, just a wonderful venue that fit Journee and Djay perfectly!
Their sweet pup "Little Girl" is a rescue and now is incredibly spoiled in the best way possible!
Now this face, holds the record for being my all time favorite of a groom seeing his Bride for the first time as Journee walked the aisle, I wish you could have heard his sweet words at that moment. Definitely an argument for foregoing a "First Look" in my book!

Update: I could NOT have been happier when I found out recently that Journee and Djay are being blessed with a baby girl! I am always happy to be FB friends with my brides so that I can watch their journey continue, no pun intended ! ;) Hope you will visit BR one day so I can meet that lucky little one and see you as a family!
